KUALA LUMPUR: S. Thivashini was the star as she scored the winner in Malaysia's 1-0 win over Singapore in the women's Under-19 AFF Championship at the Jakabaring Athletic Field in Palembang, Indonesia, on Saturday.
The 17-year-old scored in the 65th minute.Cameron Ng's side are second in the three-team Group B on goal difference behind Vietnam, who thrashed Singapore 5-0 in their opening game on Thursday.
Malaysia will play Vietnam on Monday to decide the group champions.
