KUALA LUMPUR: Terengganu escaped defeat, thanks to a stoppage time equaliser from Adisak Kraisorn in a 2-2 draw with Stallion Laguna of the Philippines in an AFC Cup Group G match at Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium on Thursday.
The Filipinos scored as early as the sixth minute through Griffin McDaniel's direct free kick which found the bottom right corner of the goal.
Stallion Laguna doubled their lead in the 41st minute through Junior Ngong Sam who beat Terengganu goalkeeper Suhaimi Husin.
Sony Norde reduced the deficit for the Turtles just before halftime, after pouncing on a messy situation infront of goal.
In the second half, the home team had to wait until added time to get the equaliser through Thai forward Adisak,
After three games, Terengganu are still unbeaten in the AFC Cup with one win and two draws.
