KUALA LUMPUR: The second phase of the FA of Malaysia's ambitious F:30 plan - which is to be a football power in Asia by 2026 - will be officially launched this Saturday.
FAM secretary general Datuk Noor Azman Rahman said details of the F:30 second phase which covers 2023-2026, will then be announced. The goal is for Malaysia to achieve a top five ranking in Asia.
Malaysia are now ranked world No. 137, No. 24 in Asia and fourth in Southeast Asia (including Australia).
Since the F:30 was launched in 2019, Malaysia's world ranking has improved from world No. 154 to 137 with the highest of 134 in mid-year.
