Selangor thrash Perak to remain second in Super League

KUALA LUMPUR: Selangor thrashed Perak 4-0 at MBPJ Stadium in Kelana Jaya to extend their Super League winning run to five matches.

Sharul Nazeem Zulpakar gave Tan Cheng Hoe's side an early lead, heading home in the third minute.

Mukhairi Ajmal Mahadi doubled their lead in the 33rd minute.

Yohandry Orozco (73rd minute) and Ayron Del Valle (80th) added Selangor's other goals.

The Red Giants are second in the league with 55 points with two league matches to go this season.

In Paroi, Negri Sembilan defeated Police 2-0.

K. Devan's side had to wait until the second half to find their first goal, and it was R. Barathkumar who broke the deadlock in the 49th minute.

A. Selvan scored Negri's second in the 79th minute.

Negri are ninth with 24 points Police are seventh with 34 points.
