KL Rovers want to compete in Singapore League

KUALA LUMPUR: KL Rovers to play in Singapore's S-League?

That is the speculation after a letter from KL Rovers to FAM, stating the M3 League side's wish to play in the S-League, appeared in social media.

The Rovers emerged as M3 League runners-up last season and did not get a licence to play in the 2024-2025 Super League.

Their letter to FAM said: "Referring to the subject matter above, our club, KL Rovers have requested to join the S-League for the 2024 season.

"Attached is an official letter from the FA of Singapore regarding our intention to play in their league.

"We are confident, after finishing second in the M3 League for a second consecutive year, we can compete in that league (Singapore) and make a name for the nation.''
