Kelantan join third-tier's M3 League

KUALA LUMPUR: Kelantan, who were booted out of the Super League, will be playing in the M3 League this year — a third-tier competition in Malaysia's league structure.

Kelantan, was were not granted a national licence following issues related to salary arrears, will make up the 16-team competition in the M3 League.

The others in this year's competition, include the Armed Forces, Harini Selangor FT, Immigration, Malaysian University, Melaka, YPM, Manjung City, PIB Shah Alam, Bukit Tambun, Machan, Gombak FA, Bunga Raya, KL Rovers, UiTM United, Kelantan, and Putrajaya Athletic.

Amateur Football League (AFL) chairman Datuk Yusoff Mahadi disclosed that Perlis United, SAINS and Sarawak United have withdrawn from the M3 League this year.
