Gavin 11 strokes behind leader after frustrating round in Dubai

KUALA LUMPUR: Golfer Gavin Kyle Green is 11 shots off the pace after a frustrating second round at the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai today.

Starting the day in tied for 14th, Gavin battled to one-over 73 on the Earth Course of the Jumeirah Golf Estates to slip to 24th.

Gavin, a two-time runner-up on the Tour this season, recorded three birdies but was undone by four bogeys as he reached the 36-hole mark at one-under 143 total.

England's first-round leaders Tyrell Hatton and Matt Fitzpatrick remained atop the leaderboard after carding five-under 67s to establish a three-shot cushion over Sweden's Alex Noren and Spain's Adri Arnaus.
