KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's S. Sivasangari's fine run in the Singapore Open came to an end in the quarter-finals today.
The Asian Games champion, who stunned Egypt's top seed Nour El Tayeb in the second round, lost to England's eighth seed Sarah-Jane Perry 11-8, 9-11, 10-12, 7-11 in 43 minutes.
National coach Ajaz Azmat said Sivasangari was leading 10-8 in the third set, but she made a few errors.
Sivasangari will next play in the Hong Kong Football Club Open from Nov 21-25 and Hong Kong Open from Nov 27-Dec 3.
