Devotees dance and revel for India's festival of colours [NSTTV]

MUMBAI: Devotees and revellers smeared each other with colour powder and danced in cities across India for the Hindu festival of Holi on Monday (March 25).

Celebrated at the onset of spring, Holi holds a mythological importance - it and is associated with the eternal love of the Hindu Lord Krishna and Radha and a riot of colours.

Holi is celebrated by millions of Hindus across India and around the world, while drawing handfuls of tourists yearly to domestic festivities across India. --REUTERS
