KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Puteri Aishah has revealed that she will be tying the knot with the man of her dreams this month.
The 27-year-old artiste let on that she would be marrying a 28-year-old businessman but declined to disclose any further details on the upcoming nuptials.
"We had actually planned to get married earlier on but because of how things were going, we decided to push it back to this month instead.
"If everything goes well, we will proceed as planned. Praise be to God, all of our preparations for this joyous occasion is coming along smoothly and is close to 80 per cent completed.
"If possible, we would not want the ceremony to be a virtual one since it will be witnessed by the families on both sides.
"It is also not my intention to keep the wedding date and the identity of my soon-to-be husband a secret.
"It's just that those who know, already know. And the rest will all be revealed on the actual day itself," she said in a Harian Metro report yesterday.
Aishah added that she had known Mr Right for over a year and could not wait to take the next step in the journey of her life.
"I am very grateful that he is supportive of my artistic career. We both like to work hard so there won't be any issue on this matter.
"We understand the nature of our different careers. He has never dissuaded me from my interest in acting and had encouraged me in whatever I do.
"Please pray that this upcoming ceremony will carry on smoothly. The event will be held in a moderate manner and adhere to the various set of SOP," she said.
