KUALA LUMPUR: ML Global Bhd has bagged a contract worth RM38 million from Kemudi Ehsan Sdn Bhd for re-construction works for a property project in Ijok, Selangor.
In its filing to Bursa Malaysia, the company said its wholly-owned subsidiary, MITC Engineering Sdn Bhd has accepted a letter of award for the project comprising 203 units double storey terrace house.
“The construction and completion of the contract will take 78 weeks and is scheduled to commence in August 2017 and is expected to be completed in February 2019,” it said.
ML Global said the contract will increase and enhance the existing order book. With the contract in hand, the group’s current outstanding order book stood at RM2.08 billion.
“The contract will have no effect on the issued share capital of the company but it is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets per share of the company and the group over the duration of the contract,” it said.
