OSK Property to launch three projects worth RM4.65b in 2018

PETALING JAYA: OSK Property Holdings Bhd (OSK Property) will launch three residential properties this year with GDV worth RM4.65 billion.

Its chief executive officer Ong Ghee Bin said the three property projects are Ryan & Miho in Petaling Jaya, Iringan Bayu in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan and Hika in Cheras.

Ryan & Miho and Iringan Bayu, each with a GDV of RM593 million and RM3.6 billion respectively, will be launched in the first quarter of 2018 while Hika with a cost of RM460 million will br launched in the second half of this year.

"We would like to offer new projects at strategic and mature locations equipped with a variety of facilities and facilities.

"So, the offer of these three new projects is timely to those who are looking for their first home," he said when met after the launch of OSK Campaign 20188, here, yesterday.

Ryan & Miho, which has up to 1,084 units of homes, is also equipped with a 0.89-hectare podium facility located in the heart of Section 13, Petaling Jaya neighborhood with bridge to Jaya One.

Iringan Bayu is a 311.61 hectare residential area and a green park landscape, Verdant Central Park with an area of ​​8.9 hectares and offers 761 units of houses for its first phase.

The Hika project is located in the last phase of You City in Cheras is a serviced apartment with extraordinary connection as it is also connected to the pedestrian area to Taman Suntex MRT Station.

Commenting on the prospect of the property sector in 2018, Ghee Bin said property development will remain flat for this year as it does not show a bearish trend.

According to him, for a few months at the beginning of the year there will be sentiment of uncertainty in the market given the expectation of the General Election, however it will recover after that.

"The public is still cautious for this period and at the same time location factors are also a concern among buyers," he said.

OSK Property has about 1,578.27 hectares of land bank that can be developed with an estimated GDV of RM8 billion.

Among the projects being developed by the property company are Luminari (Butterworth), Windmill Upon Hills (Genting Permai), Bandar Puteri Jaya (Sungai Petani) and Emira (Shah Alam).

Meanwhile, OSK Property has launched the 20188 Zero Entry Campaign, offering home ownership without having to pay upfront fees and opportunity to win cash up to RM20,188.

Ghee Bin said the campaign, which offers zero percent of the down payment for the house, will start from January 1 to March 31, 2018 for all 12 property projects by OSK Porperty throughout the country.

The campaign also offers free legal fees for sale and purchase agreements (SPAs) as well as loans as well as free loan duty stamps. 

"Through some interactions with customers and the public, we are aware of the key challenges to home buyers is the high cost of down payment.

"We hope that this campaign will help to become a platform for easy home ownership and investment suitable to buyers," he said at the launch of the campaign yesterday.

Eighteen home buyers will stand to receive a cash prize of RM20,188 each.
