Samaiden launches high school's solar project

KUALA LUMPUR: Samaiden Group Bhd has launched a  solar project at Tsun Jin High School.

The initiative, which is part of Samaiden's ongoing commitment to social responsibility and environmental stewardship, involves the installation of a solar photovoltaic (PV) system with a capacity of 637.65kWp.

"We are immensely proud to launch this solar project at Tsun Jin High School. This initiative aligns perfectly with our mission to promote renewable energy and our vision of empowering communities. 

"By reducing carbon emissions and energy costs, we are contributing to a more sustainable future, while also aiding the educational sector in its journey towards greener practices," said group managing director Chow Pui Hee. 

The installation at the school is set to have a profound environmental and economic impact. 

Samaiden expects to avoid 453 tonnes of carbin dioxide emissions per year, playing a crucial role in combating climate change. 

"Additionally, the school will benefit from substantial cost savings, with a reduction of more than 40 per cent in its monthly energy expenses. 

"This initiative not only underscores Samaiden's dedication to environmental conservation but also reflects the Group's commitment to supporting educational institutions through sustainable practices," it said.
