Ewein Bhd rewards 1,000 home purchasers of its City of Dreams project on cruise trip

PENANG: Bursa-listed property company Ewein Bhd rewarded 1,000 home purchasers of its City of Dreams project in Penang on a 4 days and 3 nights cruise trip as an appreciation for their trust in the property and its developer.

The City of Dreams Cruise ship took the passengers on a round-trip from Penang to Port Klang and Phuket, Thailand which was officiated by Penang chief minister Chow Kon Yeow and Ewein Bhd president and group managing director Datuk Ewe Swee Kheng on January 3.

Ewe said the appreciation cruise is to thank its valued customers - majority them are local buyers, and some international buyers from Singapore, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand and Europe.

"It has been a fantastic year and Ewein is honoured that its maiden property development project, City of Dreams, received great response from the market and we think that this trip will be a good opportunity for us to get closer with our buyers as well as understand better about their needs and desires.”

“The Company is focused on creating products that are well-differentiated from the market, with many unique offerings for a relatively competitive price, and located at prime locations.

“We will continuously strive to provide great value for money in our property developments as well as ensure that customers receive excellent aftersales care. Ewein is also working on City of Dreams 2 and we shall share more details about it in the near future,” he told the media onboard the cruise trip recently.

For the duration of the 4 days and 3 nights, passengers were indulged with buffets, stage shows, performances and the use of other cruise facilities with an 8-hour stop in Langkawi after a detour from Phuket due to the Pabuk storm.

Through its subsidiary Ewein Zenith Sdn Bhd, the City of Dreams is a luxury sea-front development in Bandar Tanjong Pinang overlooking Gurney Drive.

All residential units were designed to have sea-views, with sizes ranging from 1,097 sq ft to 1,335 sq ft with access to a wide range of luxury facilities such as private lift, yacht services, Rolls Royce limousine, private bowling alley, private cinema, sky lounge, sky pool and others.

Chow commended the effort by Ewein in organising the appreciation trip for its purchasers and is in the opinion that such a move is a creative effort in promoting tourism and economy in Penang.

He recalled the achievement by City of Dreams in receiving the title of ‘First Multi-featured Avant-Garde 7-dimension Scale Model’ in the Malaysia Book of Records eight months ago.

He also said the construction of the residential project is going well, currently built up to the 11th floor and expected to be completed on the 4th quarter of this year.

Ewein envisioned its maiden property development to be a materialisation of a dream to build high-rise homes that provide the kind of luxury that allow residents to enjoy a superior lifestyle much like a five-star hotel.

City of Dreams development have received numerous awards including Champion of Entry Point Project 10 (EPP 10), Best Luxury Lifestyle Development Award, PUMM Top 50 Platinum Award, and Going for Green Building Index (GBI) Gold Class.

The City of Dreams project is slated to be completed by the end of 2019.
