FamilyMart, TnG eWallet in delivery services pact 

KUALA LUMPUR: Touch 'n Go eWallet is collaborating with QL Resources Bhd's unit FamilyMart, allowing users to enjoy the latter's favourites on-demand and have them delivered to the doorstep.

TNG Digital Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Ignatius Ong said Touch 'n Go eWallet wss always on the lookout for more partners such as FamilyMart, to bring added value and give users a better experience. 

"It is aligned with FamilyMart's vision to create an integrated payment ecosystem where the users' shopping experience is rewarding, whilst continuing the momentum to adapt to cashless, safe and convenient payments," he said in a statement. 

Ong said many Malaysians still preferred contactless and cashless payment. 

"It is just in time for the coming Chinese New Year as customers will be on the lookout for a variety of choices of food offered by FamilyMart instead of the traditional Chinese New Year spread," he said. 

Users can browse the FamiDelivery catalogue through the Touch 'n Go eWallet app and purchase meals, hot snacks, quick bites, desserts, café beverages, groceries and personal care products directly. 

They can also opt for delivery within 30 minutes or pick up at the FamilyMart store of their choice once payment is made. 

Users will enjoy free delivery for orders valued above RM30.

QL Resources executive director Chia Lik Khai said FamiDelivery on-demand delivery services aims to provide consumers with more convenience and continues to evolve with their current lifestyle. 

Chia said the partnership with Touch 'n Go eWallet was an innovative collaboration that enabled FamiDelivery to reach even more consumers nationwide.

"In line with the konbini concept, FamilyMart constantly innovates to provide consumers with more convenient solutions and trendy, Halal fresh food offerings," he said.

In addition to the introduction of FamiDelivery, users can enjoy up to 60 per cent off on Oden dinner and snack bowls, brown sugar bubble milk and croissant dandwiches from Jan 26 to March 22.
