Advancecon wins RM22.8mil job from Sime Darby Property

KUALA LUMPUR: Earthworks and civil engineering specialist Advancecon Holdings Bhd says its wholly owned Advancecon Infra Sdn Bhd has secured a RM22.8 million contract from Sime Darby Property (Pagoh) Sdn Bhd.

The contract is for earthworks and auxiliary works at the latter's industrial park project in Bandar Universiti Pagoh, Johor.

Advancecon will undertake the construction and completion of earthworks and auxiliary works for Plot B1-B7 of the industrial park development. 

The contract is for 18 months, commencing from the site possession in November.

Advancecon group chief executive officer Datuk Phum Ang Kia said it is dedicated to expanding its relationship with Sime Darby Property for its projects nationwide, spanning residential, commercial and industrial segments. 

"We continue to support them with our expertise and reliability across key developments. Our commitment to successful project delivery for major industry players solidifies our recognition within the construction sector," he added.

Sime Darby Property's Bandar Bukit Raja 2 development in Klang, Selangor, Serenia City development in Sepang, Selangor, and SME Business Park development in Nilai, Negri Sembilan are also supported by Advancecon.

Earthworks and civil engineering services are also provided by the group for major projects such as the East Coast Rail Link and the West Coast Motorway.

Its projects in Sarawak include property development as well as road, industrial and oil and gas projects. 

These projects will ensure the company's profitability for the next two to three years.
