DNeX teams up with KTNET to facilitate trade

KUALA LUMPUR: Dagang NeXchange Bhd (DNeX) will work with Korea Trade Network (KTNET) on various projects on port community system, electronic customs and IT consultancy services for trade facilitation.

KTNET, which manages South Korea's digital trade systems, will collaborate with DNeX to enhance port community systems, electronic customs and IT consulting services for smoother trade operations.

DNeX's subsidiary Dagang Net Technologies Sdn Bhd (DNT) signed a two-year agreement with KTNET.

The partnership aims to combine DNT's local technologies with KTNET's global capabilities to modernise the trade industry, DNeX said today.

Both parties plan to develop new products and services together, using their combined expertise to better serve their clients.

Since its establishment in 1989, Dagang Net has pioneered initiatives to create and integrate paper-less, electronic Customs-related services to ease the facilitation and streamlining of international trading processes for import and export.

KTNET is Korea's national paperless trade infrastructure operator that implements and operates the uTradeHub Platform for all businesses in international trade in collaboration with the Korean government.

Leveraging the experience, KTNET has implemented e-customs systems in other countries.
