KUALA LUMPUR: New enchancements have been added to the Ford Ranger Raptor to make its mark in 2020.
The enhancements include the addition of smart and safety features, among the highlights being Autonomous Emergency Braking with vehicle and pedestrian detection, Forward Collision Warning, and Lane Departure Warning and Assist, all are first in-class.
Additional kits fitted to the performance pickup truck are the extra USB charging port on the rear-view mirror and LED projector headlights.
“With the new enhancements to the Ford Ranger Raptor, this ultimate off-road truck is now perfected to conquer the streets, making it ideal for everyday use in addition to commanding the harshest terrains at thrilling speeds,” said Sime Darby Auto Connexion managing director Syed Ahmad Muzri Syed Faiz.

The Ford Ranger Raptor produces 213hp and 500Nm of torque from its 2.0-litre bi-turbo diesel engine that is mated to a 10-speed automatic gearbox.
The pickup truck is also equipped with Fox Racing performance dampers, Terrain Management System (TMS) with six modes including Baja Mode, and a class-leading 850mm water wading capability.
The 2020 Ford Ranger Raptor is priced from RM208,888 (on-the-road, without insurance) and is available in four colours - Ford Performance Blue, Conquer Grey, Absolute Black and Arctic White.
