KUALA LUMPUR: Samsung has unveiled an innovative digital flipchart which can be rotated between portrait and landscape modes.
Called the Samsung Flip, the 55-inch 4K UHD touch display is a digital whiteboard that allows up to four people to write simultaneously, using any object, even a finger, as a writing tool.
With the board, you don’t have to sort through endless stacks of paper to find a specific discussion point as you can now seamlessly scroll through and search within up to 20 clearly-divided digital Flip pages.
“In today’s day and age, many companies are embracing open-plan like office environments where meetings are more likely to occur spontaneously rather than in meeting rooms.

The Samsung Flip includes a dedicated HDMI port, and is able to wireless connect with devices supporting the Windows 10 operating system.
Besides inking personal devices through the integrated NFC technology, its screen mirroring connectivity allows users to mirror their personal mobile device content directly onto the screen.
Once connected, changes made on the central screen will automatically transmit to the user's personal device, and vice versa, for efficient, matched viewing.
Flip runs the Tizen operating system used in a variety of Samsung products, including smart TVs, and contains 8GB of internal storage.
Meeting facilitators and participants can also download and share featured content through email, or traditional printing, or save into a USB drive.
Targeted for the modern office workplace, the Samsung Flip is priced at RM12,999.
