KUALA LUMPUR: Through Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia Malaysia (K-KOM) welcomes new applications for the 2022 Digital Content Grant (DCG).

Introduced in 2016, DCG aims to assist Malaysian digital content creators to create content in animation, interactive media, digital games, etc.

"Hence, I am confident the DCG initiative will provide the necessary thrust for businesses to remain strong and resilient in the local and global market," he said.

"Since 2016, MDEC has approved 55 projects worth over RM34.5 million to help digital creative content companies fund ideas at the development stage to make it investment and 'green-lit' friendly," he added.
