KLFW and Lazada launch online store for local fashion brands

Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week (KLFW) and Lazada Malaysia recently launched a multi-label store on LazMall which stocks local fashion brands.

Called OCM, or One Common Mission, the store features renowned and up-and-coming brands such as A-Jane, Rizman Ruzaini, Syomirizwa Gupta, Behati and Kit Woo, among others, making it a one-stop online store for Malaysian labels.

OCM represents the fashion trend and taste of Millennials and Gen-Y who are fashion forward and social media centric, who knows what is cool in international fashion but opt for affordable and original local alternatives.

The store will also feature Raya collections (for a limited time only) exclusively on Lazada from local designers including ready-to-wear, handbags, jewellery and accessories. More local designers and brands will launch within the OCM LazMall flagship fashion store in the coming weeks and seasons.

Lazada Malaysia chief marketing officer Diana Boo says the partnership is a start of many great things to come in the local fashion industry between Lazada and KLFW.

"OCM brings this amazing experience to Malaysians, where we envision online fashion accessibility, where all Malaysians – even in the most remote areas of the country – are included in the discovery of cool and affordable fashion pieces from upcoming to well-known Malaysian fashion brands," says KLFW founder Andrew Tan.
