KUALA LUMPUR: Former Umno Youth Chief turned HotFM radio announcer, Khairy Jamaluddin has added another feather in his cap by becoming an ambassador of a local Baju Melayu brand.

In a couple of videos shared by the local brand, he was seen showcasing various colors of the traditional Baju Melayu.

Another video showed Khairy and his fellow ambassadors, including actors Beto Kusyairy, Sharnaaz Ahmad, and Adi Putra, strutting through Jalan Bukit Bintang as part of the brand's campaign before the short film debut.

Khairy was also entrusted with starring in the short film titled "Mak" inspired by the true story of the founder of the fashion brand.

Khairy's co-stars include his Keluar Sekejap co-host Shahril Hamdan, Amir Ahnaf, MK K-Clique, Merqeen and many others.

Khairy's involvement does not stop at modelling for a fashion brand; he has also ventured into promoting a local beverage product.

The 48-year-old former minister of Youth and Sports, as well as Science, Technology, and Innovation, has also been spotted playing the role of a food delivery person in an advertisement promoting a restaurant business.

Khairy previously served three terms as Rembau member of parliament before losing in his bid to capture the Sungai Buloh parliamentary seat in the 15th general election (GE15) after suffering a narrow defeat in the seven-cornered contest.
