KUALA LUMPUR: Local fans were treated with a sweet surprise when a photograph of American novelist George R.R Martin and two time academy award winner, movie director Quentin Tarantino surfaced on the Internet.
With Kuching Waterfront as the background, Martin had uploaded the photo on his official Twitter page on Thursday.
“Just two guys who love movies. (Still hoping we can check out each other’s theaters one of these days) @ @qtarantino #TBT,” tweeted Martin.
The post has sparked frenzy among both the legends’ fans calling for them to collaborate.
Fans have also called Martin to make Tarantino direct the next season of hit series, Game of Thrones (GoT), which is an adaptation of Martin’s series of fantasy novel, A Song of Ice and Fire.
“Make a movie! Have him direct the Dance of Dragons!!!!,” said Twitter user, @Ser_Hunts.
“A Tarantino directed finale of GoT would be the most awesome thing ever,” said user, @iamAbhisekDas.
