Sound advice from Hetty Koes Endang to a pregnant Siti Nurhaliza

KUALA LUMPUR: When Malaysia’s No. 1 singer Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin revealed challenges she's facing while expecting her first child via Instagram yesterday, many Netizens shared their stories and tips in the comments section.

Siti, 38, wrote that being pregnant is an extremely beautiful and challenging experience for her as she had to face skin allergies, heartburn, loss of appetite and lower back pain, among many other discomforts.

Having now experienced these conditions, she wondered how her mother pulled through at least eight times before giving birth to all of her children. So she invited her fans to share their experiences with her.

Among those who did so was none other than veteran Indonesian singer Hetty Koes Endang.

The 60-year-old legendary keroncong artiste wrote: “Allah sayang sama CT (Siti) tandanya. Larangan-larangan orang tua harus selalu diperhatikan dan dipatuhi ya sayang (That shows God loves Siti. Please remember to observe the taboos avoided by the older generations, my dear)."

On a different note, Siti, who is due in March next year, was bestowed the Sri Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (SSAP) award earlier today by the Sultan of Pahang, which carries the title of Datuk Seri.
