#Showbiz: 'Covid-19 was a lot more painful this time' — Siti Nurhaliza

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza is gradually "on the mend" after contracting Covid-19 recently.

She has just undergone a three-day quarantine and is a little worried about the coronavirus' effect on her voice.

"It was a lot more painful this time around. Unlike last year, I had really bad body aches, a high fever and I coughed out lots of phlegm," said Siti in an interview with Harian Metro Online yesterday.

"I am praying hard that my voice gets better. I am glad that my voice feels 'lighter' now and I can sing many of my old songs. But I still have this bad cough though."

Siti advised her fans to stay safe as there has been a recent increase in the number of people infected by the coronavirus.

"We must continue to be vigilant. The coronavirus is still around, so we must all do our utmost to keep ourselves safe."

Siti first contracted the coronavirus last year, and it greatly affected her voice.
