KUALA LUMPUR: Top South Korean actress Kim Tae-hee and her actor-singer husband Rain are now the proud parents of a healthy baby girl.
The star couple celebrated the good news by sharing with fans an Instagram photo of a pair of white baby socks with soft pink flower embellishments.
The caption read: “Thank you… (The baby) is a pretty princess ~ We will raise this child to grow up to someone who can help the world. #Blessed”
According to Koreaboo, Rain’s agency, R.A.I.N. Company, also confirmed the news with the statement, “Kim Tae-hee gave birth to a daughter today, both the mother and child are healthy.”
Rain, 35, whose real name is Jung Ji-hoon, and Kim, 37, first worked together on a commercial back in 2011, and their chemistry was said to be sizzling.
They were eventually seen going on dates, before their agencies officially confirmed in 2013 that they were dating.
Wedding rumours started to circulate the following year, but Rain only revealed that he and Kim would be getting hitched on Jan 17 this year, just two days before the ceremony.
Their big day on Jan 19 was a small and intimate affair, The couple has been travelling the world since.
