KUALA LUMPUR: Fans are used to seeing popular actress Lisa Surihani as the star in various films, but recently, she shifted gear by working behind the cameras as a production assistant.
This marks the 31-year-old’s first attempt as a production crew member.
The mother-of-two is currently in Spain with her director husband, Yusry Abdul Halim to shoot a music video for well-known entrepreneurs Datuk Aliff Syukri and Nur Sajat’s new duet single “Abang Nak Tegur”.
She shared her experience through an Instagram post, thanking her husband for the experience.
“My very first ‘behind the scenes’ experience as Production Assistant and Second AD (assistant director) for my husband who was also the director for the MV (music video) #abangnaktegur shot in a very charming little town called Almonaster La Real in Spain.
“Thank you so much for the guidance Yang, I hope I did well. It was an interesting learning experience and frankly it was liberating.”
