KUALA LUMPUR: While some local TV drama fans still find Fattah Amin’s acting more wooden than solid oak, award-winning director and actress Erma Fatima is okay with the popular actor’s perfomance.
While watching an episode of My Coffee Prince, a local drama series adapted from a Korean series, Erma, 49, recently uploaded a screenshot image from the drama on her Instagram account.
Erma found the series entertaining and she said that both the lead characters (played by Fattah and Janna Nick) are “cute”.
However, a fan who did not agree with her responded: “Geli aku tengok si patah tu berlakon...apasal kayu x patah lgi...tetap kaku....huh.” (I can’t bear to watch his wooden acting. He’s still stiff.)
But Erma generously responded that Fattah could act, and it was just that the characters he had been playing so far had not really required much more from him as an actor.
