(Showbiz) 'I feel lost and empty' - actor Zul Ariffin on dealing with mother's death

KUALA LUMPUR: They say that nothing really prepares you for what it's like to lose a parent.

Popular actor Zul Ariffin, 31, who recently lost his mother, Robiah Nasir due to a heart attack, opened up about dealing with the devastating loss.

“I may be able to put up a smile when I'm surrounded by people but only God knows how I feel deep inside. I feel lost and empty.

“Maybe I'm overwhelmed with guilt because I didn't get to be with her at her last breathe. That really affected me," he said in a recent news report by BH Plus.

Zul also said he didn't get to fulfil his wish of performing umrah with his mother.

“I told her my plans to bring her on a vacation to Dubai before performing the umrah," he said.

Despite not being able to bring his mother along, Zul would be performing umrah soon.
