KUALA LUMPUR: Like many parents with school-going kids, some popular celebrities took some time off yesterday to take their children to school on their first day of the 2018 school session.
While it was the first time for some of these celebrities’ offspring to be introduced to the education system at pre-school level, some began their first day at primary school and secondary school.

1. Actress Sari Yanti’s son Baasit Al-Haq starts his Year 1.
2. Singer Stacy Anam’s daughter Bella Deluna Afiq Hakim is up early to attend preschool.
3. Singer Tomok’s son Arrianshah Akid.
4. Former actress Abby Abadi’s daughter Maria Danisha Hakim who begins her Year 4 at Sekolah Rendah Islam Mus’ab bin Umair.
5. Celebrity couple Memey Suhaiza and Norman Hakim’s sons Muhammad Darwisz Hakim, and Muhammad Dikhriz Hakim attend preschool.
6. Elyana Emrizal’s daughter Cinta Sumayyah begins her Year 1.
7. Child actress Mia Sara Nasuha begins her secondary school education yesterday.
8. National astronaut and TV producer Datuk Dr Sheikh Muszaphar sends his daughters to Chinese-medium kindie and school.
9. Entrepreneur/Actor/Singer Datuk Aliff Syukri’s children were supposed to start school only today, but his wife Datin Sri Nur Shahida Mohd Rashid must have forgotten about it and instead took them to an empty school yesterday.
