KUALA LUMPUR: As birthday wishes pour in for Malaysia’s No.1 singer Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza who celebrates her birthday today, fans were treated to some baby news from the 39-year-old songstress.
Siti revealed on her Instagram that she and her husband Datuk Seri Khalid Mohd Jiwa are having a baby girl, due in March.
The happy news was shared by the couple through a video on Instagram earlier today. “In conjunction with my birthday I’d like to share with you that we are getting a baby girl,” said Siti, who is seven months pregnant.
“This would be the most meaningful gift for me. Please pray that everything will run smoothly for the arrival of our little princess,” she added.
Congratulatory wishes immediately came streaming in on Siti’s Instagram page from fans and Netizens.
On another note, local radio stations such as Hot FM, Kool FM, Era FM, Sinar FM, Gegar FM, Suria Fm and Best FM have dedicated a special segment for Siti today by spinning her collection of songs.
Fans from abroad also joined in to wish the mother-to-be a happy birthday on social media.
One that caught her attention was a die-hard fan from Brazil @philosopop who has Siti’s face tattooed on his bicep, tweeted a heartfelt message for the singer: “Happy Birthday Datuk Siti Nurhaliza! I have loved you since I first heard kesilapanku, keegoaanmu. I am overjoyed to see you well, healthy and with your loving husband. I wish you all the best!”
Siti responded: “Tq for being my fan.. please come visit Malaysia sometime.”
