(Showbiz) K-Pop star BoA to release remake of Michael Jackson's Man In The Mirror today

KUALA LUMPUR: South Korean singer BoA is gifting her fans with a special remake of Michael Jackson’s timeless hit, Man In The Mirror.

Making it even more special is that it will be a duet featuring the song’s American co-writer herself, Siedah Garrett.

According to Yonhap News, BoA’s agency, SM Entertainment had released a statement saying that the collaboration was to mark the 30th anniversary of the song’s initial release in 1988.

Man In The Mirror was originally from Jackson’s 1987 album Bad, but it was released as a single the following year and earned a Grammy Awards nomination for Record Of The Year.

The recording for BoA, 31, and Garrett’s duet took place last month at the Westlake Recording Studio in California, where Jackson had recorded the album, Bad.

The remake track, rearranged by Myron McKinley, will be released today at 5pm local time through SM Station, SM Entertainment’s weekly digital song release programme.
