(Showbiz) K-pop group B1A4 hurt in car accident while heading to concert

KUALA LUMPUR: K-pop group B1A4 was recently reported to be in a vehicle collision on the way to a concert in South Korea.

In a news report by Soompi, the five-member group’s agency WM Entertainment had released a statement on the matter yesterday.

It confirmed that the group had been in a car accident while on the way to Inje for the Icon Concert in support of the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.

The statement read: “It was a very sudden incident and following up with the B1A4 members was the most important issue, so we delayed the official statement until we could get a precise checkup from the hospital.”

It continued with: “Right now B1A4 has completed their medical examinations at a local Inje hospital and received a diagnosis of bruises and muscle pain. They are currently resting. In the future, WM Entertainment will do its best to ensure fast recovery of its members and put the safety of our artistes first.”

The group, made up of CNU, Baro, Gongchan, Sandeul and Jinyoung, were apparently driving through the Gapyeong area in the Gyeonggi province when their car collided with the vehicle in front of them.
