KUALA LUMPUR: OlaBola The Musical actor Luqman Hafidz recently injured himself when he took a fall during rehearsal.
“It happened when I was climbing on top of another cast (for a scene in the production), and may be because I was tired, my mind wasn’t really focused at the time,” he said during the recent press conference held at Istana Budaya to introduce Celcom Axiata as the show’s digital partner.
“I was wearing a pair of jeans then, which wasn’t really an appropriate piece of clothing for one to wear when attempting an action such as that,” said the 25-year-old artiste.
He however said that although he had sustained cuts and bruises, it was only a minor injury.
That incident reminded Luqman and the other cast, which include Douglas Lim, Altimet, Iedil Putra, and Lim Jian Wen, to always think of safety first during practice.
OlaBola The Musical will run from Feb 8 to March 11 at Istana Budaya.
