Kuala Lumpur: Quick thinking by popular TV and radio personality Fara Fauzana may have just saved an elderly from possible danger.
The 38-year-old celebrity bravely stepped out of her car mid-traffic while on her way to Shah Alam, to help the driver who had fallen asleep on the wheel.
Taking to Twitter to share the dramatic moment, Fara wrote that she noticed the car in the next lane was not moving, despite the slow moving traffic.
Even with the endless honking by other motorists, the driver was unresponsive, and had his head faced down, Fara described.
“FF (Fara Fauzana) terus tekan double signal.. keluar dari kereta, pergi kat kereta tu and ketuk tingkap!”(I turned on the double signal, stepped out of the car and knocked on his window).
“Dia tak gerak ok.. Fara ketuk lagi kuat sikit.. finally dia angkat kepala mcm orang baru sedar. (But he didn’t respond. I knocked a little harder and finally he lifted his head, as though someone who had just gained conscious).
“Are you ok uncle?! 2 kali FF repeat baru dia respond.. oh ok! Tq! Then baru dia gerak..” (Are you okay? Twice I asked only then he responded. He said ok and thanked me before driving off).
