KUALA LUMPUR: Singer Nita Hamzah took to Instagram recently to express her heartfelt grief over the death of her brother-in-law, Muhamad Zamri Mohd Zin, 47.
He succumbed to his injuries two days ago when he was involved in a tragic car accident last week.
In previous news reports, Zamri had rammed into the back of a trailer that was parked in the emergency lane on the North-South highway, due to a burst tire.
He was travelling with Nita’s nephew who survived the ordeal but injured his leg.
“Alhamdulillah cuaca redup… dan perjalanan Arwah abang ipar saya sangat mudah. Arwah selamat di semadikan di tanah perkuburan islam bukit lagong. Damailah di sana abang gurik..Al Fatihah..” (My brother-in-law has been laid to rest at the Muslim cemetery in Bukit Lagong. Rest in peace brother, Al-fatihah).
Condolences from fans and followers poured in for Nita and her family, with hopes that they remained strong during this trying time.
