#Showbiz: 'I did 5 rounds of IVF' — Siti Nurhaliza

KUALA LUMPUR: Ten years of waiting to successfully conceive her first baby definitely did not come without struggles for Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza.

The country’s no.1 singer revealed that she underwent five rounds of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) before successfully conceiving her firstborn, Siti Aafiyah Khalid Mohamad Jiwa.

The revelation was made known on a new talk show helmed by Ustaz Ebit Lew.

“Ten years was a long time to wait, but I stayed positive and hopeful. From modern to traditional ways, there was nothing I didn’t do to try and get pregnant.

“I actually did fuvd rounds of IVF but I didn’t tell anyone.

“Some people said that despite having a lot of money, I didn’t try hard enough to get pregnant, when in fact I did but I just chose to keep it to myself,” she said while holding back her tears.

The Percayalah singer gave birth to her daughter Siti Aafiyah on March 19.
