#Showbiz: BTS and K-Pop gang dominate Billboard's World Albums Chart

KUALA LUMPUR: It seems that the K-Pop craze is very much alive and healthy as ever.

According to Soompi, Billboard had just released its charts for the week ending on Sept 15.

The results showed that its World Albums chart has been dominated by South Korean acts.

K-Pop titan BTS unsurprisingly took the top three spots, coming in at No. 1 for Love Yourself: Answer, staying strong there for a second week now, followed by Love Yourself: Tear and Love Yourself: Her at No. 2 and No. 3 respectively.

Making it’s debut on the chart, NCT Dream’s new mini album We Go Up settled in at No. 5.

Another new entry was Monsta X member Jooheon’s mixtape DWTD, which came in at a respectable No. 8.

BTS returned to the list at No. 9 for its Japanese album, Face Yourself.

Park Jimin’s mini album jiminxjamie then made it’s debut on the chart at No. 11.

Last but not least, red hot girl group BlackPink succeeded in clinching the No.12 spot for its mini album Square Up, which summed up the K-Pop musical onslaught for this week.
