KUALA LUMPUR: Things turned tense at a meet-and-greet event for Syafiq Kyle’s fans held at a karaoke outlet in Subang recently, when the actor’s father who was also present suddenly collapsed.
Abdul Razak Husin, 55, was immediately rushed to the hospital soon after, according to a recent news report.
Fans present were shocked as Razak appeared in the pink of health just moments before, even taking the microphone to perform a song.
At the time of incident, his wife, Ruhaya Sulaiman was next to him while Syafiq only arrived minutes after his father passed out.
Syafiq’s manager, Shawn Amer said: “I’ve been told by family members that Syafiq’s father has a history of high blood pressure.”
The actor however has yet to issue any statement regarding his father’s latest condition.
