KUALA LUMPUR: It has long been speculated that popular Indonesian singers Afgan and Rossa are more than just close friends.
Most recently, wedding rumours surfaced where the two apparently had already tied the knot in a private ceremony.
Picking up on the rumour, Liputan6.com reported that Afgan had admitted that many people were asking him about the supposed wedding ceremony.
“What I can say is that I’m not married yet. But I accept the messages and well wishes from the public.
“Whatever it is, please pray that I will get married soon no matter who my soulmate is,” he said.
Meanwhile, Jakarta.tribunnews.com reported that Rossa debunked those rumours through an Insta-story post, saying that she was still very much single.
“But I will certainly share the news if and when I plan to walk down the aisle,” she said.
The wedding rumours began circulating after Bubah Alfian, a popular Indonesian make-up artiste, had teased about Rossa and Afgan’s nuptials through a live Instagram session recently.
One follower asked, “Kak Bubah, Afgan sama Ocha apa kabar?” (Bubah, how are Afgan and Rossa?)
He quickly answered “udah married!” (they got married). The video quickly made its rounds on social media before it was deleted.
