#Showbiz: Neelofa's little 'copycat' steals Netizens' attention

KUALA LUMPUR: It's undeniable that popular TV presenter and entrepreneur Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor’s fashion sense has been under scrutiny by many – both her fans and haters alike.

But it was a three-year-old girl whose been copying her poses, while garbed in clothes akin to what Neelofa wears, who recently stole the limelight on social media recently.

Apparently, about fifteen pictures of the girl, named Nur Airis Nafisya Muhammad Nurul Huda, in various poses copying the 29-year-old celebrity, including the recent picture of her with the extra wide-brimmed straw hat Neelofa wore during her recent trip in the Maldives, had gone viral online.

In a news report today, the girl’s mother, Eka Muliati Basri, 33, said that she was surprised to find out that the pictures had gone viral recently, seeing that she had posted the pictures a while ago on her Facebook account which she kept private.

“I did it just for fun. I didn’t even make them viewable to the public, so it came as a surprise when they became viral. I soon found out that it was my sister who had shared them on social media,” Eka said.

Eka admitted that she likes Neelofa’s fashion sense and always "stalks” the celeb on Instagram to see the latest photos shared by the fashionista.

She also shared that she had never forced her girl to pose for her, but would ask if she'd like to be photographed looking like Neelofa in images for her social media account.

“I also used whatever clothes and materials we have at home to re-create Neelofa’s elegant looks,” she shared.
