KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Risteena Munim Zainul Ilyas, 35, plans to sue all netizens who made baseless accusations against her younger sister Ruhainies Zainul Ilyas, 32, on social media following her arrest for khalwat with Singaporean actor Aliff Aziz on March 8.
"Ruhainies and I have been collecting all the slanderous social media posts attacking her. Some of them have been downright threatening and cruel," said Girlfriend Kontrak star Risteena on Instagram yesterday.
Risteena also clarified that Ruhainies was "visited" by the Federal Territories Religious Department (Jawi) at 11pm and not 3am as previously reported.
She even backed up her statement with a screenshot of her conversation with Ruhainies on WhatsApp around that time.
Ruhainies had earlier said that she had invited Aliff to her condominium as he would be joining her family members for a late dinner.
Last Monday, Aliff's wife actress Bella Astillah filed for divorce at the Federal Territories Shariah Court in Jalan Duta. The case was mentioned yesterday, even though Aliff was unable to appear at the court due to filming.
Aliff and Bella were married in 2016 and have two children aged 4 and 7.
