#Showbiz: SHINee's Onew bids adieu to fans?

KUALA LUMPUR: As part of his preparation for his upcoming national service enlistment, the bandmember of popular K-Pop group SHINee, Onew, recently wrote a letter to his fans on the matter.

According to Allkpop, Onew, whose full name is Lee Jin-ki, uploaded the letter written in Korean onto the band’s official Instagram account recently.

In the letter, the 29-year-old idol promised that he would keep on singing after he ended his military service in two years’ time.

He also hoped that fans would listen to his songs if they missed him during his absence from the entertainment scene.

“I am sad to leave and will always feel sad during this temporary break. But please pray that I will return a better man and performer,” he wrote.

Aside from Onew, the other SHINee members are Key, Minho and Taemin. Another original member, Jonghyun, had passed away in December last year.
