#Showbiz: Someone wants to harm me with black magic, but my wife becomes the victim, says Jamal Abdillah

KUALA LUMPUR: Evergreen singer Datuk Jamal Abdillah believes that one of the reasons why his wife Datin Zai Izzati Khiruddin kept ending up with miscarriages each time she falls pregnant is due to black magic.

“It is almost impossible for her to conceive when she always finds herself bleeding, as if she’s menstruating, even when it’s not the time of the month yet,” said the 59-year-old artiste when met at the press conference for Kosert 3 Suara held at Bukit Kiara Equestrian & Country Resort here, yesterday.

Jamal said his 24-year-old wife and him would be extremely thrilled to have at least a child from their union.

But at the moment, the couple are not even putting their hopes high following several miscarriages which Zai has had so far.

“I believe black magic is in play and I am certain that it’s aimed at me. But somehow, it missed me and got my wife instead,” said Jamal who has since moved out from his Shah Alam house.

“Each time we go back there, she gets hives or some sort of mysterious allergic reaction, which doctors always say that it’s just due to hormonal imbalance,” he said.

Jamal and Zai have have also sought alternative treatment but so far there has been no development in their situation.

“I really pity her as she has grown so thin now,” he said.

The couple tied the knot on April 1, 2017 in Ipoh, Perak and this is the singer’s fourth marriage.

Jamal was previously married to Basariah Abdul Latiff, Noraina Mohd. Yusof and Fatimatuzahrah Samad respectively.

He has two sons — Osama Yamani, 18, from his second marriage and Ahmad Zaki Yamani, 12, from his third.

Meanwhile, on Konsert 3 Suara, Jamal said the show, to be held on April 6 in Ipoh, would feature Ameng, Zamani and him on stage.
