#Showbiz: 'Konsert Sifu Dan Aku' has not been shelved, says Hattan

KUALA LUMPUR: Rock singer Datuk Hattan said that the Feb 3 concert in aid of veteran artistes, Konsert Sifu Dan Aku will go on as planned.

Hattan said in an interview with Harian Metro Online yesterday that the concert at the Sabah International Convention Centre in Kota Kinabalu had not been cancelled and more than 50 per cent of its tickets had been sold.

"I was shocked to hear of rumours that the concert has been shelved. It has not, and ticket sales have been great," he said, adding that perhaps certain quarters spread such rumours to increase ticket sales.

Hattan urged all artistes to help promote the concert which was in honour of all veteran artistes who had contributed much to the music industry.

"It is specially to help our seniors who are in need, it is our labour of love to all of them whom we regard as mentors."

The concert organised by Ochee Purnama features Datuk M. Nasir, Hattan, Noraniza Idris, Man Kidal, Baby Shima and Ifa Raziah.

Among the veterans who will benefit from the concert are Toki, Zaiton Sameon, Shima, Uji Rashid and Lord Lokman.

The tickets are priced from RM188 to RM988 and are available at https://ilassotickets.com
