KUALA LUMPUR: Fans of BTS will be able to have fun with their favourite K-Pop band when a cinematic video game featuring all its seven members is released.
According to Allkpop, the developer of BTS World, Netmarble Games, had confirmed that the game was coming soon.
The South Korean mobile and web game publisher had initially teased the project early last year but has remained quiet, until now.
Fans naturally got excited after Netmarble posted an update on its Twitter account promising that the game would be out “soon”.
Meanwhile, Koreaboo reported that BTS was recently seen filming a comeback music video in the city of Namyangju in South Korea.
This was apparently based on insider information which revealed that the music video was filmed under extreme secrecy in order to prevent specific details from leaking prematurely.
The report also revealed that the K-Pop giant is preparing for a comeback sometime in late April or early May.
Recent events have seen BTS members RM, Jin and Jungkook hinting at a comeback real soon as well.
Unfortunately, BTS’ agency, Big Hit Entertainment, has denied the report.
An official statement from the company read: “News about the music video recording are not true. They did not film a new music video. We will reveal details when the comeback is actually confirmed.”
