KUALA LUMPUR: Singer-songwriter Hael Husaini has no intention of ending his collaboration with prolific composer Ezra Kong.
In a recent news report, the 31-year-old artiste said that while there have been others who have expressed an interest to work with him, he admitted that he was comfortable working with Kong.
“Besides being such a talented musician, he was also the first person who believed in my ability to compose songs.
“I have yet to find someone I can collaborate easily with like Ezra. Although I haven’t been formally trained in music, he was able to read and interpret the ideas and melodies which I had in mind and come up with a beautiful work,” said Hael, whose collaboration with Kong and Dayang Nurfaizah, titled Haram, recently won the top spot at TV3’s Anugerah Juara Lagu 33.
Hael added that it was the right combination of ideas and comfort level which made them produce such an award-winning piece of music.
