#Showbiz: Siti's concert in Royal Albert Hall still in limbo

KUALA LUMPUR: Plans to bring Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza’s tour titled Datuk Siti Nurhaliza On Tour to London’s Royal Albert Hall in the UK has yet to be confirmed.

Siti, 40, revealed that she was still waiting for the green light from the organisers of her tour, Shiraz Projects.

“Until the organisers confirmed the news, will I be able to comment much further on this. We’ll have to wait for an announcement from them first,” she said in a news report yesterday.

It has been previously reported that Siti will return to perform at the prestigious venue on April 22, 14 years after she first staged a concert there.

The Anta Permana singer who has just wrapped up the Asian leg of her tour in Jakarta, Singapore then Malaysia, still has high hopes to perform in London.

“If I am unable to perform there next month, I hope we can arrange for another date.

“But if the organisers are unable to turn this plan into a reality, I hope to realise it somehow. Perhaps by tying up with other organisers,” she said.

The country’s No. 1 singer who runs her own company, Siti Nurhaliza Productions, is always looking for ways to relive the memorable moments of her 2005 concert at the Royal Albert Hall.
