#Showbiz: BTS' Press conference for 'Map Of The Soul: Persona' to be livestreamed!

KUALA LUMPUR: Fans of BTS, or Army, from around the world will be able to catch the uber popular K-Pop group live during its upcoming Press conference for its latest EP, Map Of The Soul: Persona.

According to Soompi, American reporter George Pennacchio of ABC News revealed yesterday on Twitter that BTS had something special in store for fans next week.

He wrote: “Mark your calendars! BTS is holding a global press conference for Map Of The Soul: Persona.” Pennacchio added that the event, to be held in California, would be livestreamed on the K-Pop music outfit’s official YouTube channel (BangtanTV) on April 16 at 7pm (April 17 at 10am in Malaysia).

BTS is scheduled to release Map Of The Soul: Persona on Friday and will be premiering its title track on the popular American late-night comedy show, Saturday Night Live, the following day.

Meanwhile, the seven-member group continues to have a strong presence on Billboard’s World Albums chart.

Soompi reported that for the week ending in April 13 on that particular US chart, BTS’ releases took the Top 2 spots.

It’s album, Love Yourself: Tear, was entrenched at No. 1, while Love Yourself: Answer took the No. 2 placing.

BTS’ other album, Face Yourself, made it to the No. 7 spot. Aside from that, the K-Pop juggernaut’s little brother band, TXT, from the same agency, Big Hit Entertainment, came in at No. 14 with its debut release, The Dream Chapter: Star.
