#Showbiz: Ariana Grande thanks BTS' Jungkook for catching her concert!

KUALA LUMPUR: It seems that K-Pop juggernaut BTS’ fanbase is widening to include other international stars as well.

According to Soompi, American pop and R&B singer-songwriter Ariana Grande posted an Instagram entry on her account earlier today thanking BTS member Jungkook for attending her concert on Monday night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, USA.

The post read: “Screaming. thank u soooooo much for coming to my show, Jungkook. it meant so much. love u sm.”

Her shout-out of gratitude was accompanied with a photo featuring the two artistes together backstage throwing up peace signs.

Yesterday, Jungkook, 21, tweeted a photo on BTS’ official account that expressed his feelings about attending the 25-year-old Grammy-winner’s concert, which was part of her current Sweetener world tour.

He wrote: “I felt and learnt a lot after seeing her (on) stage. I am really challenged by her stage (presence) and will try harder!”

Apparently, Jungkook is a big fan of Grande and the feeling, to all their fans delight, seems to be mutual.

BTS is currently in the US for its Love Yourself: Speak Yourself world tour which kicked off last weekend at the Rosebowl in Los Angeles.

The popular South Korean music outfit is expected to continue with its American leg of the tour with concerts in Chicago and New Jersey next.

BTS will then head to Sao Paulo in Brazil, London in the UK and Paris in France, as well as Osaka and Shizuoka in Japan to complete its stadium tour, which is an extension to its highly successful BTS: Love Yourself world tour that ran from August last year to April.
